ie the 110 was shot with a lower tier camera with a single element lens. I have scanned some 110 stuff that a 2700 dpi film scanner was overkill and a flatbed worked just fine. But one might as well just at 4000 dpi if your scanner is this anyway. Scanning at 4000 dpi may or may not help with most 110 stuff since much was not so hot. If the image was shot with a Rolleie A110 then one had a vastly better lens. If your 110 is just a simple instamatic image 4000 dpi probably is an overkill. I think the 110 slide is something like 40mm square. Or one can cut out a square in an old 2x2 slide frame and make it be the same as the smaller 110 size square. I mention this long saga because you can place a tiny 110 slide back into one of these discarded 2x2" frames and then tape it and then project or scan it.
